It all started
Founded in 2008 by Robert Haskell and his father-in-law in their East Providence home, HM Tax Advisors began as a true family-based business focused on trust, service, and community. Built through word of mouth, we’ve grown by delivering superior, affordable service and adapting to an ever-changing tax landscape. Robert’s 20+ years of financial services experience provide a unique perspective on how financial decisions impact tax outcomes, allowing us to guide clients with clarity and confidence. As we’ve expanded into our current location and grown our team, our commitment remains the same: consistent service, genuine care, and always evolving expertise. Today, we’re redefining what a tax firm can be — shifting from simple tax preparation to full-service, year-round tax planning and advisory, so you never have to navigate your tax journey alone.
